Scoping study mission: environmental security assessment of pastoralist and transboundary rivers ecosystems in Ethiopia

PAES participated in the Foundation for Environmental Security and Sustainability (FESS) scoping study mission to Ethiopia on environmental security assessment of pastoralist and transboundary rivers ecosystems. The mission conducted a series of interviews and consultations with government officials, international donor organizations, and civil society organizations. The purpose of these discussions was to explore possibilities for conducting environmental security assessments in Ethiopia related to pastoralist-agropastoralist ecosystems and/or transboundary river basins with a view to identifying and developing programs and projects for reducing vulnerability, population displacement, and poverty.
